Microsoft plans to enable partners to invite customers to accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement directly through Microsoft. How does this benefit customers and partners?

For customers who accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement through an authenticated Microsoft portal, the agreement will be presented, accepted, and stored in a completely digital experience (this capability will be available in the CSP program in early 2020). These customers will benefit from streamlined purchasing since the same agreement can be used for purchasing across sales channels without the need to resign the same agreement terms again. They will also enjoy a more integrated contracting experience and a simplified agreement history, with new terms added dynamically to the agreement.  For partners, the ability for customers to accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement through an authenticated Microsoft portal can reduce the burden of managing the agreement process, including accountability for attesting to customer acceptance of the agreement and maintaining agreement records. Partners can also use new functionality available through Partner Center to determine if a customer has accepted the Microsoft Customer Agreement directly with Microsoft. Customers who have already accepted the new agreement through Microsoft do not need to resign the agreement for purchasing in CSP.
