What should I do to prepare for the Microsoft Customer agreement and ensure that I can place order for new licenses on behalf of my customers?

For your existing customers who have accepted the Microsoft Cloud Agreement in PRISM portal, you should:

  1. Send them a copy of Microsoft Customer Agreement for acceptance.
  2. Perform Partner Attestation of the Microsoft Customer Agreement on behalf of your customer starting December 1st 2019
  3. You can also direct your customers to Microsoft 365 portal to view and sign the agreement from early 2020.

For your customers who are new to rhipe CSP, they might need to sign both the Microsoft Cloud Agreement and Microsoft Customer Agreement. You should:

  1. Send them a copy of both Microsoft Customer Agreement and Microsoft Cloud Agreement for acceptance.
  2. Attest the acceptance of Microsoft Cloud Agreement by your customers if you are ordering new subscriptions before December 1st 2019, or/and
  3. Attest the acceptance of Microsoft Customer Agreement by your customers from December 1st 2019 
  4. You can also direct your customers to Microsoft 365 portal to view and sign the agreement from early 2020.

The bottom line is that all customers must accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement starting January 31st 2020 for you to place new orders, renew subscriptions or update subscription seat counts on their behalf. And it can be done thorugh partner attestation or with Microsoft direct at Microsoft portal.
