There are mainly two options:
- Hosted Office: This solution involves you hosting Office on a server for end-users to remotely access it. Note that you may need to report Office and RDS licenses for each user who is authorized to access your service. Note that you do not have local install rights in this model.
- Managed PC: SPLA partners who are renting out their laptop/desktops to customers as a part of the ‘managed-pc’ solution can install desktop applications such as Office, Project and Visio under SPLA on this rented device. Partners must sign a “Rental Addendum” under SPLA before they could offer this solution.
